yeah if the pats can rip off another couple of wins like the one today, they should have no problem with da bears.

No problem? No team from here on out is going to have "no problem" with the Bears.

Bears look really good, but you wonder how close it would be with Alexaner playing for the Seahawks. I am thoroughly impressed with how well the Bears are doing offensely. They aren't a juggernaut team yet, but they are definitely capable of smoking most teams in the NFL with a decent O and a stellar D.

I honestly feel that we missed Jeramy Stevens more in this game - Alexander was definitlely missed in goaline situations though....all in all I still think we would have lost tonight though.....Unfortunately we lost the turnover battle and without those turnovers the game might have been a little bit closer, but alas probably still a loss.

I am loving this team.
But as a lifelong Chicagoan (and Cubs fan) I have been let down too many times to throw myself fully into this 4-0 team.

They do look awesome. No doubt.
I'll enjoy this ride for as long as it goes.

Cautiously optimistic.

Conversation after the game:

Jeff: "I don't know why, but I feel like they're not going to be able to keep this up all season."
Len: "They wouldn't be the Bears if they kept this up all season."
Jasmine: "True, true."

Todd, throw yourself into the team. You know you want to.

I'm just running alongside the bandwagon for the time being. Maybe I'll hop on eventually.

The best part about this Bears resurgence is...

1. The players are young, and only likely to get better
2. It truly is a team effort, much like the Pats team of recent years. By that I mean there is no reliance on just one player. Everybody contributes and steps up when needed
3. No superstar egos here

Obviously the Seahwaks aren't nearly as good as i thought. The Bears wil choke in the playoffs and i will rejoice.

I am VERY impressed by the Bears, who mere weeks ago I ridiculed on this very board. As of today, they could beat any team in the NFL. The one person who seems to be getting the short shrift when it comes to being credited for this fantastic start by Da Bears is Lovie. Thurston III would be proud.
