Recordings of "Eyes on the Prize" are not numerous but some are extraordinary, particularly the version Mahalia Jackson performed, as "Keep Your Hand on the Plow," with the Duke Ellington Orchestra at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1958.

I saw it all in college (African American History since 1865 I believe was the class) and have watched signifigant portions since on PBS.
