F**K I love autumn. Is there a better season? I don't think so.

Agreed. I actually really love the transition from Fall to Winter. I love the first cooler days... and then I totally adore the first snowfall... (so long as it's not in October).

I'm quite a fan of Winter...just not past January.

I would love Autumn/Fall more if it was a more substantial season here in Nebraska, but we basically go from Summer to Winter without much Fall Foliage time. It was unbelievably hot the past two days, and I am guessing will be getting snow by Halloween.

I also love the first snow, but I don't care when it is. Nothing like taking a walk after the first major snowstorm and everything is blanketed in pure white snow.
I'm not a fan of February in Nebraska when the same snow has been on the ground for two months and is essentially frozen solid, and either black or yellow.

Autumn.
Early autumn, in particular.
Not only is the temp perfect, and is it beautiful, as the leaves start to turn, but the smell of the season brings back floods of memories of the beginning of the school year. And as much as I hated the loss of summer freedom, I loved reconnecting with friends and seeing them every day, when I hadn't for the past 8 weeks, or so.

Nostalgia.

Makes me happy.

Bittersweet.

The seasonal equivalent of dusk... a magical time of the day.
Autumn is a magical time of the year.

Fall. No doubt. We don't really have much of one here, either, but the week or two that we do is glorious.

Summer for me, 'cuz t's the season for high level activity, usually the time to kick up the ever so popular weekend athlete thing. Travel, hiking, biking, boating etc. And don't forgit lots of outdoor concerts. Right season to be Nomadic.

Fall. We get great seasons in North Cack, especially towards the mountains. The tourist thing to do on the 3rd weekend in October is go see the foliage at the Blue Ridge Parkway. Avoid this weekend and go a different time. The leaves changing in Fall is something I've always loved.

Totally. Senor Six and I both get all excited at the idea of Winter.

I would say the fall, but it's been like 90 degrees the past couple days here. Where the F is the fall?

Fall is my #1
Winter is my #2
Spring is my #3 only because it means that summer is imminent
Summer is my #4,5,6,7,8,9...Absolutely hate the heat and everything associated with it. The only exception being a really great thunderstorm.

Notice Friday through Monday

That's just about weather perfection in my opinion.

We only have 2 seasons. Winter and Summer. I like Winter cause Summer is hot.

Autumn. Hands down. And there is nothing like autumn in New England. Nothing. I love it.

Now get me outta here.

Spring here is great once you get past the obligatory hailstorm - nice warm to hot temps that you can sit outside in without it being boiling hot. Like now - I swear it's about 30 degress Celcius out there.

Haven't had a summer in Sydeny as of yet, so we'll see how that goes. Winter is very mild, especially compared to where I grew up, though I seem to have lost my 'conditioning' for the cold in the past couple of years
