Okay, so it's not really music related... (although I do love "Spirit in the Sky")

Basically I moved cities two years ago and never found myself a new doctor. It's been incredibly nerve-wracking; stopping by yucky drop-in clinics, always worrying something "big" would happen and I'd have no one to turn to, etc.
But I'm just the kind of person who avoids doctors whenever possible.

That said, I bit the bullet today and actually found myself a dotor and made an appointment. Even though it makes me really nervous, I can honestly say that avoiding it probably made my fear of it worse.

Anyone else being a medical scaredy-cat? How long has it been since you've been to a doctor?

Congrats! You took a great big step, besides there is nothing more precious than to invest in your health. And when it comes time for those annual checkups it'll be a breeze. Ironically I worked in Hospitals and still hated seeing physicians for any reason. You did well.

Thank God, I thought this thread was headed for the Dr Hook @ Medicine Show.

I went to a new doctor last week and he had either BO or bad breath. I couldn't figure out which. He was nice though but kind of fruity.
