Who was the child voice at the beginning of "Dear God"?
The singer is uncredited in the liner notes.
I figured if anyone would know it would be you.

Just curious, really.
And wondering why they went uncredited.

I've been asked this before but surprisingly it was a little 'girl' Rundgren brought in for both sections of the song. I know she's credited on the record but under the 'Thanks' section if I remember correctly. Her surname is something like Vollette or Vilette.

What a great record.

Yeah, the boy in the video was picked for his resemblance to Partridge. So he's lip syncing a girl's part.
