And it :rawk: 's.

RIYL - Minutemen, Meat Puppets, Grateful Dead, Colin

The recording quality isn't very great but they've got some good songs. Can't wait to hear an offical recording. Sun Upon Sun and Abigail are stellar so far. Big up yourself, Colin.

Colin' s in like 50 bands right now, so I don't know. But I think Phil's eventually gonna be in all of them. This is his band that's gonna be playing with Grand Champeen and Bobby Bare Jr. soon.

I think that's how he's stay so svelte.

Thanks, Tanner - yeah, the sound quality is pretty poor, yet surprising considering it was just the drummer's minidisc recorder tossed in a corner in his backback. If anyone is interested in hearing this live show from last Sunday, PM me and I'll send you a sendspace link. It is in AAC format - I'll try to get it into mp3 format as well.

This band (Chalk Outlines) is planning on bringing Phil in as a multiinstrumentalist to play additional keyboards, vocals, guitars, percussion, bass as it is appropriate - maybe even fiddle.

And yeah, opening for Grand Champeen and Bobby Bare Jr. tonight at Emo's

I'd like it to also be said that I've never pimped an "obner band" before but I really think some of you would be interested in hearing this.

Colin keeps the beer shelf in the fridge stocked, and we leave food in his dish.

Last night it was steak, stuffed portobello mushroom cap, and a cheesy potato pie thing, all courtesy of Deena. Mostly I do the cooking though, but we had deena's chicken pot pie a couple of week ago, and now we'll never get rid of the boy.

And that's all right with me.

Hey C, i need a copy of that to figure out what i'm putting over it.

Gonna try and see you at emo's tonight, but i've got rehearsal at 7:30. What time are doors? I don't know if D is up for it, but i hope so. Want me on camera duty tonight?

Dig it.
And sorry I didn't have more time to hang out a couple weeks ago.
This last trip to Austin was, to say the least and for reasons I'll go into another time, a mixed bag.
Have a great show tonight.
