Stole it from a Boston Globe slide show. Took me all of maybe two and a half minutes. There was an article there yesterday about how many coaches in the post season were ALSO former Red Sox players, but I can't find the link.

But I guess, many of these people can be claimed as former players by four or five different teams.

You are an honest man to admit it, I would have lied and bragged about my photoshop skills or some shit like that.

I freely admit to being techtarded about photoshop. About lots of computer gizmos, too.

A decade of experience with AP Wire software, though, which, helpfully, is compatible with nothing and has no internet usefullness.

I was looking forward to watching the Yankee game tonight. Now it's being played tomorrow when I can't watch it. Bummer.

Which is like saying Evan & Jaron were the best of the boy bands.

That makes no sense, unless you are comparing leagues.

See I’m a hard core Giant fan and it pains me to no end to say that they are good. Just giving props where they are due, they are a well put together team. I work in the heart of Los Angeles so I have been going at it with fans for these last few days.

dodgers aren't that good. i will never admit that. you sell out.

haha...you got me there

Yeah but he was no where near that ball. With 2 outs and 1 on he can get behind it and let the ball drop for a base hit. Milton Bradley was due up and it's not like he's much of a threat.

Completely agree. A couple years ago (pre-injury) Hunter could make that type of play but there have been a number of times this year where Hunter's hubris has taken over and the Twins have suffered for it (not to this magnitude, however).

Casual fans and commentators are afraid to offend and often refer to his past Gold Gloves, but it's just not there any more.

It's like watching Favre getting picked off when trying to sneak a pass into double coverage. Maybe that worked when you were younger, but now....

DISCLAIMER: It pains me to watch Hunter screw up. Favre, on the other hand.....schadenfreude.

I don't know, the A's have a way of choking for the past like 9 years.

From 2000-2003 they had 9 chances to close out a series and couldn't get it done. That's about to change.

It was nice to see the Tigers even up the series after having great difficulty finding a hotel last night.
The Cards are up 2-0 in the 5th, after Pujols and Edmonds drove in a run.

We are friends now, but I cannot side with you if there were to be a Yankees / A's series. Which I'm kind of hoping for.

True. I'm sensing a mixed CD bet if it happens.

I was at this game and it sucked ass. Padres anemic offense couldn't even hit off JEFF FUCKING WEAVER. Oh well, Cards will be knocked out next round.

I just noticed you're from Lafayette....or at least that's your current location. You ever eat at El Charro? Or Squirrel's coffee shop?

Getting shutout by Jeff Weaver in the playoffs should count as 2 losses.

But in all fairness he did pitch better on the road than he did at home. And once the Cards figured out he was ADD & medicated him he's picked it up a notch
