I've been having a real streak of bad luck lately. Hopefully, that will turn around soon. Otherwise, I may just have to take MiceElf's vacation. (haha)

I have had lots of people tell me that I have the worst luck of anyone they know. It's never horrible, tragic things; just those straw-on-the-camel's-back types of things.

I get crapped on my birds at least once a month. Only on my way somewhere, never on my way home.
I get a scratch-off lottery ticket every Friday. I never win. My friend who works at the newsstand I get them from one day on impulse decided to get the same ticket as me. She won $50.
I got a bottle of Newcastle where the bartender crushed the lip of the bottle a bit when she opened it and didn't notice. I didn't either and drank some glass and cut my lip. She said it was the second time in 8 years that she's ever broken a bottle. It was the second broken bottle I'd gotten in 6 weeks.
It's always my food that is messed up.
At work, the milk almost always runs out when it's me using it. Not the 6 other people I work with who use it too. (this sucks because then I have to go downstairs and get a new one... it weighs about 40 lbs).
General stupid shit like someone stealing my recycling bins (and inexplicably putting them back where I had left them 3 days later). What the hell does someone do with someone else's recycling bins for just 3 days??

It's pretty much at the point where I'm so used to it, that it's the norm for me. That whole Murphy's Law thing is the central law in my universe. Ironically, I have in my possession about 400 four-leaf-clovers. Those things don't work.
