Waaa?

In:

- a salad
- an omelette (preferably with mushrooms, cheese, onions, garlic, etc.)
- on a salmon fillet
- mixed in to a white wine cream sauce on pasta

etc. etc. etc.

For a stupid parody thread, this has gone on for much longer than I anticipated.

Perhaps we should rename this a music- and food-focused community?

Having worked at a record store who's owner would take us out for employee dinners a couple of times a year... I'd say the corelation between being a music-o-phile and a food-o-phile is pretty damn strong.

White dill gravy served over chicken paprikash or over a wienerschnitzel?

I'm a bigger fan of Texas Pete than any other hot sauce. Great on fried fish, mac and cheese, greens, pretty much everything.

Best seasonings of all is straight up salt and fresh cracked pepper, though, when you get right down to it.

damn dude, yes on both. in fact of think people overdue it with seasonings on certain things. for instance, a beautiful cut of steak only needs a dash of salt and some cracked pepper. you wanna taste that fucker, and not just the seasoning.

and yeah, Texas Pete is hard to fuck with...

dingdingdingdingding...you are correct for 5oo points

but I do love me some Busha Browne's Jerk seasoning on a pork loin or chicken filet

There's apparently a restaurant in a town near here called "Garlic" that has garlic ice cream on the menu.

I use the powder, and i like it, but nothing beats fresh curry leaves, and good luck finding those. The only people I know who have them are indians who've smuggled cuttings of the plants and grown them. Speaking of which, I totally have to get a cutting from my mom now that i'm in this warm weather, it'll fucking flourish.

And then it's on muthafuckas.

I don't know if they're affiliated but there is a 'Garlics' in London ON, that had the same thing, everything on the menu had heavy doses of garlic in it. I had the garlic ice cream before and it's pretty damn tasty. I was a bit hesitant seeing large pieces of garlic within a dessert normally associated with fudge, but it somehow worked.

I frequented that place a lot.

Cajun Bushwack eats all of these seasonings for breakfast. Then turns it into chili farts.

coffee and tea
some other stuff.
