Why do they keep talking about how Plummer isn't performing? It's not as though McNair is doing some spectacular quarterbacking. I am not exactly a Broncos fan but it's sort of messed up that they're harping on the fact that they drafted some young QB and then try and make it seem like Plummer is playing worse than McNair.

Edit: This is one of the most boring football games I have watched so far this season.

Defense is great, but it's not like the defense in this game is the sole factor in the low score. There have hardly been any great defensive plays. A couple here and there, but I have seen much better defense in a lot of other games.

The shitty Ravens are boring? Well I never!

You should turn on PBS and watch that Civil Rights doc.

Also, defense isn't really that much about 102 yard INT returns and big plays.

I have actually been going back and forth to the documentary and the game.

And I am not denying that the defense of these teams is pretty top notch, but sometimes the absence of big plays does sort of makie the game pretty boring. Defense is not exactly synonomous with excitment to me.

I went to a high school game tonight (my brother is a senior DE, I wasn't just out Foleying for pucker) and watched this team with foot-to-foot splits handing off to the fullback two yards behind the QB for the entire game. Oh yeah, and the stands were about five feet off the ground, so you could barely see.

Now THAT'S un-exciting.

Woo, Broncos won. I went 13-1 on my picks this week. And I aaalmost picked Jacksonville to win, but flaked at the last minute.

I like Tony Kornhoser, but espn keeps positioning the camera to the side of his head rather than straight on and it's brutal. He looks like a cancer patient. Tony has a major combover that is nasty... his head/hair looks like Jason jumping out of the lake in the first Friday the 13th.

ESPN/Disney/ABC has made NBC's Sunday night game the new Monday night football.

Another game, another big play by Champ Bailey.

If he plays at his current level for 3-4 more years he will be entering hall of fame talks. Kid is always been money.

That's the one you got wrong? Surprising, good job overall. Did you have money on your picks by chance?

I think you can always bag on Plummer, Denver's Defense played great and McNair didn't play like he has been, but Plummer's skill hasn't really improved a great deal and he's clearly not the type of guy who's going to win you a super bowl. At his best, he'll keep you in games so the Defense can take care of it.
