I got it and just posted a track on Tune A Day.

I can up it for interested parties. It might be my favourite Sloan album since Twice Removed.

I think you might be overstating the case a bit here.

I just read an article on them in Filter. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have known about this.

Which is sad, considering how much MuchMusic and Edge102 used to play them back in the day.

The singles off their last few albums didn't do much for me. Stuff like "If It Feels Good, Do It" doesn't hold up to 'Underwhelmed' or 'Coax Me'.

The Sloan of old is gone forever but this album is pretty good. I don't know why I didn't hear about it before today though.

I've never been crazy about their choice of singles, at least the ones after One Chord To Another.

'Its In Your Eyes' should have been a no-brainer hit instead of 'The Other Man'

Different strokes, I guess. 'The Other Man' is one of my favourite Sloan songs.

I've got this album uploaded now. PM me if you want it.

Oh, its a great song, but if I were president of the picking sloan singles department I'd definitely pick It's In Your Eyes first...Other Man would have been the follow up.

I may see them live next month for the Pop Montreal fest and i'd like to hear this new opus.

This is my first-ever exposure to Sloan, and based on this, I definitely plan on digging into their back catalog. I can't remember the last time an album this long with so many songs managed to hold up throughout, except maybe for Frank Black's Fast Man Raider Man. Usually, with something like this, it's a case of "it would have been great distilled to a single disc," but there's not much filler here.

For those wanting to dig into their back catalogue, (FT and ayah), I've got 'em all. Just let me know what you want.

As with everything else in life, I want it ALL! You choose what to send me first, based on your elaborate Chuck Canuck ranking system.

Cool, I'll do the upload thing when I get back from ATL, so that both you and ayah can grab them. I'll make it a daily thing because there's eight of them.

Gave this another wall-to-wall listen, and this fucker is all of a sudden nipping at Destroyer's heels for the top spot. I've actually got it all the way up at #2, surpassing The Long Winters. Maybe if Roderick wasn't such a prick, right Jas?

I'm actually listening to it right now, Bob. It's definitely going to be Top 5 for me, I actually can't believe how often I'm playing it. I'm catching them here in the 'toon this Saturday. I'll let you know how it is. Also, I'll start throwing those early albums at you tomorrow.

Ok, everyone I know in the cult has this love for navy blues...and while its a great album it doesn't even compare to my love for One Chord To Another and Twice Removed.

seriously people, you need these albums.
