same :)

thirded. you don't want to know how much i will spend (and have spent) on a pair of jeans. the way i figure it, if i wear them all the time, it's worth it- cause i've got tons of pairs $50 jeans sitting in my closet that i never wear.

why are jeans the only article of clothing that put the size on the outside? i really want a shirt that says XXL on the front.

I swear by Gap jeans the last couple years.

They now make them in "curvy", meaning I ain't a stick. Never have been, never will be. So far these fit the best but the only problem I have is the length, they're always a couple inches too long and the backs of them get eaten up by my shoes.

Right now I'm in between everything anyways. Can't wear the maternity clothes but can't fit into my pre-baby clothes just yet(though a LOT closer in this direction then the other, thank god).

I once dropped over a hundred on a pair of jeans, they were great at the time but I was at my skinniest when I bought them a few years ago and I'll never see that again.

Oh yeah, Ladies, anyone else bothered by the new "skinny jean" trend? I hope it dies fast.

I recently discovered Gap clothing and am in love with it. The shirts are so soft... yum.

I am at peace with the skinny jeans. Even at my thinnest, I had hips made for birthing.

This thread is very funny to a rural farm boy like myself. Not that I didn't do the fashion thing 20 years ago and do it well for a sticks-whitey, but still.

Maybe I'll drop 2 hunnert bucks on a pair of frickin JEANS when the kids are grown. Maybe.

Labor day weekend I bought six pair of those pre-holed dark denim CK's on sale for $30 a piece. The biggest problem with pre-holes is location. One pair had a puncture hole just above my right back pocket. Because of frequent wallet/money usage of said pocket that hole has blossomed into a gaping entry point for ass scratching.

i think the biggest problem with paying $30 for jeans with holes is that you paid $30 for jeans with holes

And you have to make up a cool story of how the holes got there.

I remember when I was a kid I wore "husky". I usually shop at Old Navy. Occassionally, I pick up some designer jeans, but I'm hell on mine, so I don't like to spend too much on them. To me, jeans are utilitarian. In the winter, I'll wear cords as well, which are easier for me. Hagger makes some amazing cords that last years. I finally just replaced some that were 10 years old.

sorry guilty as charged... they are the only type of jeans that fit well on me because i don't have an ass or hips but long legs, so this style works for me. i've always had a problem in jeans because they never fit well in the hips dept., hence why i started buying sevens or diesels because those have a better fit on me.
