We've talked about the Features here before. Here is a feature about their label issues. Interesting read. Universal wanted them to record "All You Need is Love" for a Chase credit card commercial. They balked.

Thanks for sharing. I've been wondering what happened to them. Matt Pelham couldn't be any nicer of a guy and they're such a good band.

Yeah, that is a long article.

Interesting that Nada Surf went ahead and recorded the Beatles song that the Features passed on.

Not hating, just saying. I'm sure I've heard this on the tv box.

I don't think so. At least not yet. Looks like Universal wanted the Features to use the Beatles song as a lead single from their next record, which felt wrong to them. I can't imaginge Nada Surf would be down with the idea either.
