Continuing with my booze threads for the day
I was at Old Man beer night last night drinking tall boys of Old Mud for $1.50, when the owner of the bar tells me they added Side Pocket to the list of crappy beers in a can you can get for dirt cheap. They were selling tall boys of it for a buck, so after two Old Milwaukees I tried one. Oh my god is this shit horrible. It has a weird sweetness to it and almost makes you feel like your drinking crystal pepsi mixed with cheap alcohol. It took me a while to choke it down. The PBR I drank after it tasted like the best beer known to man after having to suck down that swill.
I can only imagine you drink for the 8.5% alcohol level.

No, I never drank that when I was young and a connoisseur of malt liquor.
I usually stuck with the Mickeys, but occassionally drank Magnum, OE, Schitz Bull and St. Ides. I also had the misfortune of drinking Colt 45 in cans.
