sorry guilty as charged... they are the only type of jeans that fit well on me because i don't have an ass or hips but long legs, so this style works for me. i've always had a problem in jeans because they never fit well in the hips dept., hence why i started buying sevens or diesels because those have a better fit on me.

I actually came close to putting a disclaimer on my post stating " Dri not included".

$150 on jeans? Not on your life.

I always go to the levi's store. Fashionable, affordable, inseam measurements.

I thought this was going to be about the guy I saw last night in Williamsburg -- 6'4", about a buck sixty, with either blue skin on his lower body or the tightest jeans I have ever seen.

How has this thread gotten so far without a mention of American Eagle? Best fitting jeans (with inseam measurements) that I've owned.

Oh, I do have one pair of Hollister's that I got of eBay for $1.04 that I absolutely love.

ladies (and squirggle), do yourselves a favor and find a good tailor. there's one here in madison that will resew the hem back on, so you can't even tell it was altered - and for like, five bucks.

Lemme also be clear about something: I have 2 categories of "jeans." I have 4 pair of 9-year old Carhartts that I bought when I was an electrician, that I cannot kill, and that I wear any chance I get (ie, anytime I'm not concerned about how I look). They have various colors of paint and some polyurethane on them. I love them. I'm don't think my wife does.

Then, for nicer occasions, I have one pair of expensive jeans, and 3 or 4 pairs of $30 dealies that fit sorta ok.

It's a balance.

I only have/had one pair of womens pants. And I think that pair bit the dust anyway. You'd never have known.

Oh fuck no, I have another pair. See, even I can't tell.

i am going to be the voice of insanity here and say that i think expensive jeans are actually worth it. i can't wear ill fitting pants, man! a more costly investment is the time it takes to find jeans i like.

I actually have a pair too, and they look fine. My hips are wide regardless of what type of jeans I wear, so with longer t-shirts or tunic style tops, the skinny jeans actually look good, esp. coupled with a cute pair of pointy toe kitten heels.

If I had money I'd wear expensive jeans. Hell, if I had money I'd buy an island and be nekkid.

Not everyone has 150 bucks to put down on friggin PANTS at any given moment.

I mean, we're not all rollin in it like Dalen (who has Jeb Bush's pager number and makes lots of nocturnal money "hanging chads").

Even my trousers are giving me pain
They were reduced in the sale, so I shouldn't complain
They squeeze me so tight, so I can't take no more
They're a size 28, but I take 34

I have gone back to buying Levi's. I wore the "brand names" for quite some time, but the Levi's are dependable and not too expensive.

Is she the one making the motion like she's smoking a cig, or the one in black?

A pair of Levi's in Rip Off Britain cost about £60 or roughly $100.
