That was pretty decent. I'm annoyed as hell that we still don't know about the Hatch-folk and it looks like we won't find out about Desmond and Eko next week either. But the rest was okay.

They really kind of turned Sun around so that she fits the mold of the rest of the degenerates/cheaters/criminals on the plane. Shooting that bitch Colleen was great of her, though. Although now Jack gets to perform surgery on her to save her. Ugh.

Well, yeah, everybody has issues with their pa on the show. But I mean she got the maid fired because she was clumsy. And then she cheats on her husband, doesn't tell him, and swears to him she's never been with another guy when she finds out she's pregnant.

That's kind of sleaze, considering they had just gotten back together and were super lovey-dovey at that point.

How the hell did they get to the boat without Sayid and Jin seeing them?

I'm a little concerned that the story's going to turn into "yeah, we want to stay here because we don't want to be a part of the rest of the world. don't tell anyone, k?"

I'm fairly certain we were supposed to infer that she didn't actually have sex with the guy, that they were intimate, but she stopped it before "it."

Also, she got the maid fired because she was terrified of her dad's wrath. That doesn't make her awful. It makes her a terrified kid with a guilty conscience.

Scared people with guilty consciences are this show's speciality.

I'm still entertained but am waiting for all the illumination they promised. I also a bit concerned it will turn into a bunch of weird, misguided idealism. I also don't see why they were hinting that perhaps they're The Others are "not all bad". So far this has been fairly black and white, at least to me.

They tend to provoke Losties into violence then condemn the Losties for that violence.

Also, as I said last week, you animalize Sawyer and Sawyer's Strawberry only so long before Sawyer gonna blow.

Sawyer is in my top three favorite characters on the show. Despite being the con man he's the most straight forward and honest dude. Most of the other ones are sneaky as hell and have some hidden agenda ALL.THE.TIME. He just sort of does whatever the hell he wants to.

So does Jin but I don't hear you piping up about that.
