There's been talk of a "permanent" Seam reunion (and new album) for years but I won't believe it until I see it. Also, I doubt Mac will be involved due to Merge/Portastatic/new Superchunk album/wife and kid(s)/etc.

How the fuck would Mac know what Sooyoung and co. are up to now? They haven't been involved with each other for 14 years.

Ask him if he's ever going to reissue all that early Merge stuff, particularly that first Bricks record

It's possible I suppose, but since Soo Young and Lexi moved to Chicago before Kernel, and then signed with T&G shortly thereafter, they effectively starting travelling in completely different circles starting in '92
