I have read one of those (Jonathan Livingston Seagull) and have one here in my room to read next (Portnoy's Complaint). However, it doesn't make me feel bad that I haven't read any Grisham or much King.

Its safe to say that in between churning out unreadable novels, John Grisham fucks bags of money.

Yeah he's doing all right it appears.

Also, since Dan Brown didn't put anything out this year it's a safe bet that Grisham will probably take the title again. I was in the grocery store last night and they literally had stacks of his new novel (the innocent man? Maybe?) sitting on a fucking wooden pallet in the middle of the store.

Surprised to see Katherine Anne Porter on there with Ship of Fools. Had to read that one in college. Skimmed it mostly and don't really remember it but it didn't seem like the best selling novel type.

Haven't read a single one of those, though I have seen two of the movies that were made from amongst that list.

My mom's a huge Stephen King fan, so I read all of his books when she's done. Valley of the Dolls was when I was in high school. The Grisham books belonged to my ex.

If you think really hard, you'll figure it out.

JL Seagull's the only one I've read so far.

The past ten to twenty years look pretty damn awful.

It was The Robe, not the Rober. I've granted myself credit for the Reader's Digest versions. I wonder if they even produce those anymore.

Hey, this wasn't a cut and paste I had to actually type it out so one mistake isn't too bad.

You looked it up. Or saw it in non-digital form. You typed it all.

Well, props for making only two mistakes (consent). And a suggestion to get out more.
