Many of you may be aware that our beloved Twilight Kid (Dov) has been in LA the past few days. Tonight, we plan on meeting at Amoeba and doing a bit of mad shopping (well, Dov is...I've gotta be somewhat 'good') and am extending an invitation to all locals to come by and join the shopping fun.

I think Dov and I are destined never to meet.

Ten minutes after making arrangements to meet at Amoeba, I ran down to the parking garage to leave work. Sitting in my truck, freshening my makeup with hardly any notification, I threw up my lunch. (It appears that Chinese food and Day-Quil don't mix well -- tastes atrocious too.) Not feeling well, I called Dov to cancel.

I'm sorry, Dov, we WILL meet one day. And as promised, I plan on being in NYC sometime this year -- I hope we can make plans to get together then.

Hopefully I'll be in New York before then. I'm trying to plan a summer trip to NY.

I feel bad about flaking, but yesterday was one of those days at work... I've been a hermit all week.
