Happy day!

So, moving to Austin, my company demoted me a notch because I was not yet able to transfer in my current position due to tenure. This has sucked on many levels.

Found out today I got re-promoted, getting a fat raise and relocated closer to home.

Yeah me!

Hey, nice work Deena. Now you can keep Phil in the lattes to which he's become accustomed. If a travel mug or $5 giftcard falls off the truck, you give me a call, ok?

Nothing falls off my truck buster! But, I do get free coffee and discounts. I would be more than happy to send you and your girl a goody bag.

Thanks!

The cherries are good. However, we just started getting in these chocolate covered peanut butter things. Yumm.

Peanut butter thingies? Oh gosh...those sound dangerous. I think I need to pop into a Starbucks soon.

Wait, that WAS a dig. Since I've been around . . . well, way too long, I thought that it would be okay for me to street team for myself a little bit - after all, this is the first time that I've been playing out a lot since before I had that godawful moniker B8551ST at the CMJbb. I do use the Chronicle, and I also have the habit of uploading files to share with the Obnish to get feedback on my current projects . . . so sue me.

This thread is really about Deena getting a promotion, though, so why don't you start a thread titled "Chuck D is a self-promoting bastard" or something like that. By the way, Prince of Darkness is now a member of Chalk Outlines, too.

Hole in the Wall (on Guadalupe), next Tuesday (the 24th), 10PM - hopefully Phil will be playing keys with us on at least a few tracks - sorry about being a cranky dickwad - it's been that kind of night.

I'm at Spider House, drinking, and having to play manager when I just want to get my drunk on.

This is the town for it - PM me, or, better yet, lets get a night out with you, me, Phil, and Deena and we'll get our drink on.
