I used the words "Z Grade" out loud in a class discussion this morning, as in "if they want to chase the price market, they can just put their name on some Z-grade fish and ..." etc. I didn't really think about it till I'd said it. I don't like that... could just as easily have been "gar" or anything else. At least this was understandable to normal people. Several chuckled.

I feel like I'm holding his fucking pocket. Get out of my public vocabulary, dammit.

At first blush, I thought this thread was 'i owe the senator coke', & it surprised me. I thought he said he'd given that up after he got out of San Quentin.

I misread that too, and attributed it to politicians.

Either way, Z-grade is teh funny.

A gar is actually a type of fish. So it could've made sense to your class if you said it the other way, but not in the way you intended.

...that's true. But trying to pass it off like I meant it as a type of fish would've further cemented my Dork image, which is bad enough as it is.

heh... z-grade gar.

That's the first time this phrase has been uttered with "a," instead of "some," or (more specifically) "an 8-ball of."

Surely not the last, though... pending nuptuals / lifestyle makeover and all.
