you should see my desk at work. between what i like and the releases i have to keep up with from the labels... it's been hard for me to catch up.

and it doesn't help when i become obsessed with something and listen to the same song over and over.

I only one album that I've bought but haven't listened to it. A Juliana Hatfield disc.

I'm trying to buy and listen to her albums in chronological order but I found it for $4 somewhere so I picked it up and filed it away for later.

I can understand neglecting to listen to things you like for a long time. I can understand things getting lost in your collection before you've fully digested them. I can even understand forgetting that you own some cds. I can't understand buying something though and then never listening to it.

I listen(ed) to everything that I've purchased, but my CD consumption has skyrocketed with the introducton of lala. I used to get around 6 CDs every month but now that number is closer to 15.

If I really thought about it I'm sure I'd have CDs from years ago I've not listened to yet.

what don't you like about it? seems like a great pop song.

i think it's a bore compared to what i love by them, like "if i ever feel better" and "victim of the crime," among others. i also think "long distance call" is completely forgettable. (in fact, i'm not sure i could even hum it anymore.)

I've never heard those songs.

"If I Ever Feel Better" is classic.

My feelings are that the latest Phoenix album is their strongest overall. But their best songs are from their previous 2 records. But their previous 2 records have a lot of weak songs that offset the few strong ones.
