I'm floored by the lack of love for The Feelies album here, I think Dead & Alive and I are the only one's to rank it. Are people unfamiliar with it or do many agree with billy g that it is overrated?

And I say that as a fan of the Feelies and Robyn Hitchcock. I just don't get why THAT feelies album of all of them gets the love. Its the only one that I didn't feel the need to keep. I probably sold it over 15 years ago and sometime since its been given this cult status. I can only assume its because its hard to find, because i don't think the music warrants it. I'm not a softboys hater, would just much rather listen to Element of Light or I often Dream of Trains or something of that ilk if I'm in in a Hitchcock mood.

I've never heard it; I was 5 in 1980 so my scope is a little limited.

Although I don't have any problem ranking an album as mainstream as Back In Black #2 on my list. That album (like Appetite for Destruction) exists on a plane that defies genres and popularity.

It's a good album. Just not as good as about 30 others in that year.

I just listened to that Rockpile album for the first time last night. Pretty disappointing. I guess I was expecting something a little more rockin' for some reason.
