A friend of mine is going.
Damn him!
(Private party, though... don't think you'll be able to go.)

I think it a warmup for Riot Fest.

i have no idea what to think of this now. i have seen that it's free, that it's sold out, and that it's a private party.

are you talking about a well-read friend who dates a musician? is she bartending tonight? (i must watch the mets, but this has been very tempting today.)

yes. i feel like an asshole asking about it, though. i offered to dog-sit for her if she can sneak me in. i hate asking favors of people who would never ask a favor of me.

The verdict:
The show was "awesome".
They recorded the thing for a live release.

However, while John Haggerty was there, he was only in the audience, as Bill Stephens played with the band. Kinda a bummer, but apparently the performance was pretty damn intense, anyway.

Does Haggerty in the crowd mean a potential original lineup reunion?
I have no idea, but I cursed the motherfucker out for being lucky enough to be there.
Bastard.

No.
This was all from a friend who did go.
Sorry I didn't make that clear.
I would have LOVED to go, but it was invite-only, and besides, I'm too fucking old to be going out on a Thursday night anymore, anyway.

Still: I'm freaking jealous.
