The film festival is tomorrow night, not tonight which is good for me. Now I can drink a little before heading down to it.

My weekend consists of:
Tonight: go to a Ron English opening, have some drinks, mexican food, more drinks, etc...
Tomorrow: Crack will presumably arrive by this afternoon, TVOTR/Grizzly Bear that night.
Sunday: morning beers, maybe watch some eagles game, dinner with my parents and grandparents to basically tell them no thanks, we're eloping.

I have one of the most wholesome, semi-non-drinking weekends planned that I've had in a long time.

Tonight: Going to Jackson, GA to see a friend and eat at the 100 year old Fresh Air BBQ joint and then attend the Jackson vs Ola high school football game where said friend teaches.

Saturday: watch UGA game. Folks in town for an early birthday dinner at Wisteria in the Virginia Highlands. One of the few times of the year I'll get to go to a 4-5 star restaurant. Going to see Flags of Our Fathers afterwards.

Sunday: Brunch with the folks at Agnes and Muriels (great southern cooking). Falcons game. Tower Records. Monger.

i have no plans for friday. saturday will probably be spent catching up on college football and music. i do need to make a mix or two at some point. there're two shows on my calendar for that night. it will be a last minute call as to where i go.

i'd like to get a new winter coat this weekend - something very warm that i can wear everywhere. i may shop for that on sunday.

How does one buy a non-refundable / exchangeable dress? Did you buy it at a swap meet or something?

Today--Work until midnight, come home and go to bed because . . .

Saturday--Up at 6 to get Phil to an all day choir rehearsal so I can go shopping while he's stuck there. Go grocerey shopping and going to buy a new outfit for a meeting I have next week--promotion clothes, yeah. I also have to drive around and find the locations of my meetings next week so I don't get lost and may swing by my new store to observe and spy for a bit. ;) Want to know what I'm getting into.

Come home and clean the house--note to the boys-if you want to find your stuff ever again, put it away before I start my cleaning rampage. "Deena, where is my . . ." I put it away where it belongs, "OK, where does that belong again?" I can't help it, I am seriously OCD when it comes to cleaning. Maybe we'll actually get everything put away and be able to have a housewarming party soon. Go through new store reports and see where the store is financially, find opportunities to address next week with my boss.

Attempt to groom dog, fail, make Colin or Phil help me hold her down. Succeed. Give dog a bath. Let her outside to dry. Watch her immediately head for the one part in the yard with dirt. Watch her roll in the dirt. Wonder why I gave her a bath. Shrug and have a beer.

Go pick up Phil, pamper him for awhile and go out to celebrate. First date night in like three months. Been busy. No idea what we are doing . . . any suggestions?

Sunday--find a bar that may actually have the Packers game because I doubt it will be on tv. Drink and watch football all day. Relax with Phil and play with the dog.

... once again I have no idea what's going on for the weekend. Homework, group meeting, wife's cousin in town, but otherwise... no idea. Weather's shitty.

Last night was our choir concert. First time i've conducted in 3 years, it was fun. But man i'm wiped. And it's not an all day rehearsal, i'm judging for the first rounds of all-state auditions, which i'm also doing monday night for a different region. Sunday i've got a rehearsal with sparkwood somewhere in there... but hopefull not in the middle of the fucking day and not for some ungodly long amount of time.

Was your wife in the wedding? If so, send an invoice to the cousin to compensate her for the loss of funds.
