"»We Made The Team« is the new mp3 single by The Radio Dept. The song has been a work in progress since july but the band´s recent visit to London inspired them to finish it and release it immidiately. It's a lazy skank, high on petrol fumes, scottish lager and cream tea. This autmn the Dept. will start recording their third album in Berlin and various South American cities, such as Lima and Sao Paolo. Stay tuned."

How is this? I've got a copy on the way from Canada since apparently it's not coming out in the US until sometime in 2007 (or ever?) I'm kind of amazed at the lack of talk I've seen about it anywhere - this is definitely the least notice of a new release I've ever seen for a new album by a band I love. I only knew they were recording a new album - I knew nothing about this thing coming out until this week. Weird.
