...since I guess most people forgot/never heard/misinterpreted it.

1. Never post links to full-album or full-ep downloads publicly, not even if you disguise the links with [code] tags, "hxxp", etc.

2. If you send links to material to which you do not own the copyright via PM, please post the link using [code] tags.

The first rule prevents people from Googling their album and finding a brazen link on Obner. The second rule prevents obner from showing up as the referrer in logs of file hosting services that get subpoenaed by record companies.

The Obner administration reminds you that reproducing and transmitting copyrighted material is a violation of the copyright owners' exclusive rights, and can subject you to legal liability. The Obner administration does not condone illegal filesharing, but out of respect for our users privacy, does not monitor users' private messages.
