This guy has been exposing the collosal malfeasance of the Bush Administration on a nightly basis. I loved watching him in the mid-nineties with Dan Patrick on Sportscenter but he is spot-on in his assessment of this nefarious Bush administration. What a refreshing voice in this era of post-911 fear mongering. Obviously Bush has a third grade vocabulary, but Olbermann is bringing it hard a la W&B in the 70s. Guy garners big ups from me. This coming from a libertarian who will vote for AHnold in November.

I've been watching his show almost since it started. One of the very few TV news shows I like.

If you liked that old Sportscenter stuff you should check out the 2nd hour of Dan Patrick's daily ESPN Radio show - Olbermann's on there everyday.

And you're about to find out there's several "Countdown" regular viewers here. :)

his special comments have been fucking right on.
and his audience is growing very quickly as a result. if you've not seen of them, you can go to the countdown website and watch them, they'll totally make your day.

*raises hand*

its the bees knees to be sure.

I've been looking for that clip of his old MSNBC show where he quits on air (it was during the Lewinsky scandal). me and my old roomie were watching it at the time and just kinda looked at each other like "What. The. Fuck? Did he just quit?"

A fan, but the special comments seem a little pretentious at times.

I thought so, too. I think I enjoy reading Keith more than I enjoy watching him work up moral indignation again and again. Something about the presentation seems . . . affected. Brother's got some good points, though.

Dude must be having some profound effect on somebody. Someone took the trouble to create a whole Keith Olbermann watch site.

He can be a little over the top to be sure, but when 99.9% of other TV new shows are the equivalent of monkeys throwing their own shit...I can live with a little "over the top".

Yeah, looks like the entire media, 'news' programs, talk shows, talk radio and so on has turned into one big endless punch, counter-punch. Rush Limbaugh's over the top incessant banta about his disdain for liberals is hard to listen to after a while.
