I cued up this Willie Nelson "You Don't KNow Me: The Songs of Cindy Walker"

Great album for a night like this. Its cold and rainy. I am not quite over my hangover. And I am drinking beer. Hell, I got nothing to complain about.

I have to work until the roller derby girls leave. They came in an hour early to practice, so that usually means they get done an hour early. Hopefully I will be drinking downtown at one of my favorite establishments.

Good album, eh? Willie still brings it.

I'm cooking the chicken scalpolllini and drinking the Rossi. The pints I had earlier are melding with the Rossi creating a hopefully permanent feeling of invincibility.

Nope, I work here: http://www.pershingcenter.com/
We had Bob Dylan and Kings of Leon here Wednesday and Tyreese last night. The Derby girls are our only sports team since arena football and Semi-pro Basketball crapped out on us.

Oh, this is prime melancholy/jazzy Willie. A fucking American Treasure.

That scallopini sounds MEAN! PM the recipe if you get a shot.

I am at the stage where one more beer will either wake me up and cause me to go crush this town, or put me down for the count.

I actually really like this feeling. I should get the slow core monger mix out.

I did not get to see the show since the promoter did not give us passes, but I did get to see their sound check and Dylan's band sound check without Bob. I never saw Bob at all, I believe his bus was going to pull right up to our Stage left overhead door and he was going to come in.
I heard he didn't play guitar once and that he scolded one of his band members during the show.
I did meet a few members of Kings of Leon in the catering area down by my office. I also met Tyreese yesterday since the show was in our Exhibition Hall rather than the larger arena. I was expecting him to be taller since he was a model at one time.

Yeah, I really fuckin' love that Willie album. Kind of 'Blue Eyes Cryin' Willie album that you can't beat. I believe it would segue into the slowcore mix very well.

The recipe for dinner is here. I can't get fresh veal here, so I substituted chicken. It was fucking really, really good nevertheless. I'm going for a cig and some more wine.

During the second song, I was afraid it might get too out there for me, but it got slower, and then there was a folk song, and now there's some fucking amazing spaced-out/fuzzed-out mover of a track with a nice vocal.

You fucking nailed this one, boss. Cheers! (Beer 6 -- I really should eat something)
