If the Beavers blow this game, I'm blaming rparis74.

Sounds like something older hookers apply to their hoochie to restore it to a more youthful state.

FT,
This has to suck for the Irish, they sort of needed USC to win out to help the Irish SOS. Now, if ND happens to lose in LA, it will kill their chances at a BCS. A win guarantees them a bid, but probably keeps them out of the top five.

Very true. As much as I always relish a Trojan defeat, it's in my best interest for them to remain undefeated until they face ND. But, truth be told, I realize ND's probably not going to beat them, regardless. We'll end up with two losses and a berth in something along the lines of the Gator Bowl.

I think this year's ND can totally defeat this year's USC. Very good possibility that Cal will beat them, UCLA has a shot... they are not even close to what they've been in the last three years.

Although what you say about USC is very true, even through my blue and gold colored glasses I can see how overrated ND is. They're pretty much the same team they were last year, which means they're either the worst BCS team or one of the better non-BCS teams. They'll finish the regular season with two losses (USC being the second) and then get their asses handed to them in something like the Gator or Cotton Bowl. After the bowls, they'll probably finish somewhere around 13-14 in the final rankings. With Quinn and The Shark leaving, they'll probably lose at least 3 or 4 next season and will be lucky to end the year in the Top 25.
