That looks like it could be really cool. The problem is, the older I get, the harder it is for me to play these things. It would take me too long to learn how to use those controllers for me to ever get to a point that I actually enjoy playing the games.

That controller could potentially be really annoying. Isn't the point of video games "doing something" while being as physically uninvolved as possible? I don't want my arm getting tired after just one hour of playing a game. :wink:

I still want one for Zelda and Metroid, though. And that Monkeyball game if it's good.

The other stuff does look kinda dumb except maybe for that swordfighting game.

Also, from the look of it, the Tony Hawk game doesn't actually utilize the "magic wand" controller at all. If you'll notice in that promo, the girl holding the controller is holding it sideways like a normal video game controller while the dude sitting beside her is waving his arms around with nothing in his hands.

Yeah $499 for the 20gb hard drive, $599 for the 60gb.

I think that part of the appeal of the new controller is that it has a very small learning curve. You just wave it around and press two or three buttons.

Does the wii not have all kinds of potential for when you stumble in from the bars with friends at 4am? This shit looks fun. I really want a PS3, but at that price is it really worth it? Will their online system rival Xbox's? Next month Microsoft has a few very great titles being released. How fucking great does Gears of War look?? Double Agent looks amazing on an HD, although I can't say it's gotten much use since I picked it up.

exactly what i was thinking.....

nintendo and super nes were my fav consoles EVER...lost interest after....

i remember in college before going out - we would have some serious battles with mario kart and goldeneye on the n64...

this new shit looks like fun.....thats what games/consoles have lost imho over the years. the FUN factor....
