Someone at my house left the outdoor light on and the bell just rang so I went to answer it and there was a girl and her mom there. I told her we had no candy but I should've given them one of our old vcr's.

The people who live across from us are banging on drums and making weird noises, waiting for "halloweeners".
I opened my window to find out what the noise was about and overheard and exhaulted:
"Happy Halloween Motherfuckers!!!"

Not ONE yet. It's been dark for over an hour.

That's a great big damn bowl of lonely candy sitting there.

Scew these kids. I'm drinkin' red wine and roasting pumpkin seeds... half butter/salt, half butter/cinnamon.

If anyone knocks at my door they will get some cold ketchup or soy sauce packs from the fridge. I've been in this house for 3 years now and never had a trick-or-treater.

We never get any kids where we are in town, but even if we did I wouldn't expect many. It's also about -15 out with blowing snow right now.

I'm going to be in pain when I get to Canadaland -- I'm not prepared for cold weather.

Loog was saying in chat the other day that in the state of Tennessee, convicted child offenders cannot leave their homes on Halloween (or something like that).

After the poor attendance of Trick or Treaters at Chez Tania for the past two years, I decided not to give out candy anymore. I think it's a damn shame that kids (and parents) don't keep this tradition going. Maybe it's due to the fact that parents don't get home until too late from work, freaks who wanna spoil it for kids, or the malls and parks who host large parties -- Halloween just ain't what it used to be.

Yeah I heard them say on Howard Stern that they can't leave their houses between 3pm-midnight or something.

So far 100s of kids and parents have strolled down my street. I really want to blare Wolf Eyes, but the ex said it would hurt her dog's ears. I have the lights off in the front half of the house and the porch.
I live next door to a few dudes in the band Luna Halo, and they just locked themselves inside so no one would bother them.

We just got home from trick or treatin with my son, his dad and step mum and his little brother and sister. Yes, it was a family affair!

Being in the city it really sucks to trick r treat , but his dad lives in Oak Park now so we went out there and it was sooo much better(yo Spade, I think we were about two blocks from your house tonight!).

Charlie scored big time, but poor Esme-she kept giving us this look like " you dressed me up in this damn thing and I'm freezing my ass off for what??" hehee. She went as a ladybug.

I love this holiday.
