The site is down right now but it's a pretty cool idea. It compares all the released versions of a title and lets you know which ones have the best set of extras, best sound, picture and other stuff.

I just ordered a 2 disc Assault On Precinct 13 (1976) off the German Amazon site for like $30. It took me awhile because I don't know german. :?

That is a good idea. Most times, there'll only be one or two versions available so you can just pick up the "Special Edition" or whatever. But there's stuff like the Evil Dead trilogy where I have no idea which to get.

Yeah like with Halloween, I want the original one but they have one that has like 13 extra minutes from the television version so I might have to buy both. I guess there's a Donnie Darko dvd from Australia maybe that has both versions in one package but since I never got rid of the original one I don't need it.
