Anybody pick this up yet? I went to get it this weekend, but it wasn't released until yesterday. It's Willie with the Cardinals of Ryan Adams minor fame, produced by Adams and it has "Amazing Grace" on it as well.

Haven't heard it yet, but am looking to grab it asap. I'm currently digging You Don't Know Me: The Songs of Cindy Walker right now. Willie's having a good '06.

Yeah, I have been LOVING that, Dump. Can't wait to see what him and RA have cooked up.
Methinks that if it is rawkus it will be good, and if it is slow it will be tedious.

I will be buying this for a friend.

I'm feeling the need to explore some Willie. Can someone set me up with Willie?

Heard it yesterday and it's pretty good. It's reall upbeat and rocky for a Willie Nelson record, must be Ryan Adams rubbing off on him.

I just picked it up this afternoon. Initial reaction: big fat meh.

I'll go into more detail later, but right now I have a fucked up print job that needs to be taken care of. Short answer: this would've been a whole lot better with Waylon Jennings.

"stella blue" is one of my favorite dead songs, ryan's dead fandom finally pays off.

It's decent, but I could honestly go without hearing one more version of "Hallelujah" for about 10 years.

Maybe I'm like Fu and wish it was a little more raucous though.

I thought it was decent as well, but I didn't get near the same level of enjoyment as I got from You Don't Know Me.

At first, I thought the rawkus comments were dead on.

Listened to it tonite, on my porch, drinking some wine, and guess what?

It's a Willie Nelson album.

Maybe I'll try that out sometime. I've just been listening in the car.
