K-Fed - Playing with Fire

Any bets on 1st week sales?

Bat Out of Hell III also came out this week, featuring writing credits for Nikki Sixx.

According to AMG, he's included by Meat covering songs like "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" (yes, the Celine Dion song) written by Steinman.

I can honestly see this album doing more than 100K just because people want to hear it out of morbid curiousity.

People will buy anything if it's on TV and he's been on it plenty.

What were the #'s for Ron Artest's group Allure? 50K or something and they didn't have near the hype that KFed has had.

i think Brooke Hogan only did 30k in her first week, and she too had a whole tv show behind her....

i cant see this doing well, and if anything, dropp off in the seocnd week will be staggering either way.

I'd see him having similar numbers as Brooke Hogan, probably lower, like 15,000. I guarantee you that more than a million people will have copies of this album, they just won't pay for them.

It'll probably be around the William Hung numbers.

I listened to some sample on iTunes, posted a thread about it. Most responses on the thread were apologies.

*edit*

Oh yeah and the samples I heard were hoddibill.

HA! Please tell me that's real.

Hell, I think he did real well the first couple weeks with that "novelty" record he put out with "She Bangs" on it.

I just think there are enough young girls who don't know shit about music and saw him on Teen Choice awards or something to give it decent numbers for week one. I'm sure there are older insane women who think he's hot that will buy it as well.

Regardless, nothingface is right. Week 2 should see the bottom fall out.

I think I'm just interested in this as some sociological experiment or something. It's like a train wreck I can't not watch.

although I will admit, he played a great heel on RAW for the two weeks he appeared. He drew more heat then any wrestler, and was more believable as well.

No promoter should have attempted to book him in venues of that size unless they were charging next to nothing for the show. Filling up venues of that size is not as easy as they must have thought. We've had rap artists more famous than him with at least one or two moderate hit songs that barely draw 500. I believe Tyreese barely drew 2-300 last week.

Brooke Hogan's album spawned a Top 40 single... for one week. Let's see if K-Fed can top that.
