I woke up at 3:30 this morning and sat there, wide-eyed, for over an hour worrying about this ticket bullshit. I had to turn on a movie and take a Xanax just to get back to sleep.

If I do get the tickets, I'm going to be very gracious, pay him for the tickets, attend the game and then go off on him come Monday morning. I almost hope the Bears lose just so he can think that we jinxed his seats.

If you don't get the tickets, totally go off on him. He deserves it and he should have his ass reemed, hopefully in front of co-workers/friends/loved ones/bosses.

If you end up getting the tickets, take them and smile. Don't go off on him Monday morning. That makes you look very bad and ungrateful. If the guy does end up coming through, he's technically done nothing wrong (although handled it badly) and in the end he's even doing you favor by taking a hit on the face. That said, I'd never deal with him again. I'd also politely indicate to him that once he promises the tickets, he shouldn't have even considered rescinding them, especially because you and your family had already begun planning. However, dressing him down if you get the tickets is not good for anyone.

Yeah, i know it's silly to complain/be worried about such small stuff, especially when there are homeless people and hungry kids and people with cancer and those are real problems. Ticket update: (not that you care, but it makes me feel better to get it out without screaming)

After I emailed the ticketowner and told him that we'd take all four tickets, he called another friend to see if he wants all four of the tickets. I called my mom after finding this out and she said that he can stick the tickets up his ass sideways (her exact words). So no game for the Skorupas. And I think he might've just caught me crying on the phone to her, so I hope he feels bad about it.
