had to dig this one up to comment, and was also curious if R.L. Burnside was in fact still alive. Guess not. Watched the film last night, and it was quite good. I was somewhat ashamed to know that R.L. was the ONLY Fat Possum musician I'd heard of before. It was quite revealing in terms of how the musicians were managed, the disparity in incomes and what fuels these guys to do what they do. Definitely recommended viewing for those interested.
