In '02, I saw FAAAAAAT at the Stones concert and, in the middle of the walkway screamed "Mark Taylah, WIN IT!!"

Montgomery County, AL. Voted for a Repub the first time in my life.

Also, openly laughed in the face of a poll worker when she told me to "Vote for TK for AG"

I said "Thanks lady, I needed some humor this morning"

Z! Did you vote at Chase? Is it necessary to bring your voter registration card? I can't find mine.

voted at 10:15 during a break in split shift

Mostly voted "throw the bums out" except for Rep. Mike Michaud, who's a good dude.

Wrote in a 106-year old woman's name for county registrar of deeds, because there weren't any names on the ballot for it. The fact that she died yesterday shouldn't be relevant.

voting between blago and topinka is like voting to get a nut bitten or a white-hot branding on your 2-hole

We just got back from our usual polling place ( a church about 5 blocks away ) . I have NEVER seen it that packed in there. Even so, I got a ballot pretty quickly. We had the choice between the Diebold machines & an optical scan ballot. Needless to say, I went with the paper.

It looked like a LOT of people thought they had to present a photo ID. Missouri had passed a law saying as much, but last month it was knocked down as being unconstitutional ( thankfully ) .

Overall it went smoothly.

DD -- I didn't realize you were on the MO side.

What's your take on C-Mac?

Anyone have any feelings on what happens in their state?

I really only care about one race in particular down here, and everyone says its gonna be a squeaker.

If the Dems keep the state house down here, I may even be able to find a job.

my boyfriend wrote himself in for governor.

there shouldn't be any big upsets here; the big issue this year is the death penalty and gay marriage.

I believe Heineman will win the Governorship by about 20-30%, but not the 50+% he was leading the polls by.
Nelson will win the Senate race by about 12-15% over Ricketts
I tend to think the 3rd District House Race with Kleeb and Smith will go to a recount, with Smith and the GOP holding the seat. The Dems haven't came close to winning out there since the 50's, so it would be pretty historical even if they don't win the seat.
I have heard that Moul is making it really close in my district, but I expect Fortenberry and the GOP to win by atleast 10%.
Lee Terry in Omaha will easily win reelection in his house race.

You're gonna be pissed at him when Mark Green is your Gov. Doyle needs all the votes he can get.
