Frozen Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwiches


How friggin' lazy do you have to be to not be able to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

for real, and I thought the epitome of laziness was when they introduced that stupid peanut butter/grape jelly swirl.

Those don't even look toasterable.... there's no point...

It's no joke, they've been around longer than you would believe. Several years at least.

It's all about convenience people! Some of us have hectic lives! Always on the go. I usually toss a couple in the blender with a cup of milk to cut my chewing time by half.

I doubt it. Not many frozen "entrees" are tasty upon re-heating*. Plus I bet the cost of these are a 200% or more markup than if you went out and bought a fucking loaf of bread and peanut butter and jelly.

*the only exception I will make to this rule is blueberry toaster strudels, which I don't think they make anymore. However, even then I knew it was probably tantamount to eating a tumor.

PBnJ is one of the most sacred foods in all of the Earth's creation and I just can't abide and allow such a travesty to happen.

Where's the craftsmanship? Where's the satisfaction? Where's the climactic rush of piling on far too much red raspberry preserves (none else hold a candle) and the unchecked elation that follows when the penultimate bite of the sandwich is a throbbing pocket of fruity goodness?

Nowhere, I tell you. Someone must put a stop to this. And as it happens, I've been searching of late for a cause I can get behind.

I never liked peanut butter as a kid so I use to eat just jelly sandwiches. I didn't even like those that much.
