Hello everyone. It is I, Terra... the "real Melissa" and I am pretty much freaked out. However, it was kinda funny too. I just think some people have too much time on their hands. Anyway, this seems like a pretty cool place so I think I'll stick around.

Catswilleatyou, grab your sidekick Scoob and sniff this one out. Just who is the Triple P?

Time to get those pesky kids to investigate.

LOL. Triple P is the real girl in the pics, believe it if you will. Whoever said that I would join up was right, here I am, and I'm staying! The controversy over my pics and whatnot was just too good not to get in on.

Welcome, whoever you are.

The number of twists and turns/disguised identities in this thread is amazing. I think there's still the matter of figuring out who this Freakster is. Also, I'm still skeptical of PPP :?

there's an easy way for her to prove herself... snap a picture with a hand-written sign saying "Hi Obner," where we can clearly see that it's the same girl.

Or not.

Hi and welcome, on the off chance you're real. Helluva intro, no?

J. Geils Band is awesome, Matt. I saw them live in '99 (well, most of the show... got kicked out about 3/4 of the way through) and was really surprised at how good they actually were. Not a lot of people followed them before or after "Freeze Frame" and "Centerfold". It's a shame.

You do realize that J. Geils was a huge band in the 70's with a significant following - especially in the East Coast.

How huge? Like, Stones huge? I can understand their northeast coast fame because they're from Boston, but outside of that area, I have no idea of their 70's popularity.

I only got into them because of my ex-husband (a Bostonian), so I'm familiar with bootlegs and recorded material, but that's about it. I don't have any personal stories to draw from (i.e. Uncle says, "I saw them at the Aragon back in the 70's", etc.), nor have I done any research about them. I do know that every single person I've talked to about JGB has said, "Oh. Them. The "Centerfold" guys?" And then the people who say, "J. Geils wasn't the singer?" So, that's the root of my ignorance... :D

I'm surprised the real Melissa is so understanding. I'd sue his ass. I'm sure she'd reconsider if only she knew what a woman-hater Spade Kitty really is.

LOL. I find it pretty funny that everyone was so gullible the first time around, and believed my pics were this "Melissa" person, and now that it was discovered to be a fake, there are a couple of people who think that I'm not me! WTF? You know that Cats guy told me about this ordeal on MySpace, why then is it not fathomable that I would come here and want to join? I'll do the picture thing to prove it.

Exhibitionist.

Lucky for you, 42% of the men on Obner are Voyeurs.

Someone ought to tell this nice lady about what Obner actually is before she goes a'postin' photos of herself for real.

We've been burned once, is all. Not by you, of course. But still.

Ummm... yeah. I'm not going to post pictures of myself on here. Real girls don't normally do that. So if there is ever girls posting pics, it's probably a 35-year-old man as it was here. I really don't give a shit who thinks I'm hot. The only reason those old pics of me were online were for stock images on DeviantArt for people to use in artwork.

...Well, pending any investigation by Cats (which I would accept at face value) I'm convinced.

Huh.
