To make way for one kickass sequel!

Actually, I don't know. I wondered that too.

Why a Hawkeye movie? Why not just give him a bigger role in the Avengers film?

And who is going to go see Deathlok or Shang-Chi?

I'd see a Deathlok movie before any of these.

Dr Strange, Nick Fury, and Silver Surfer have serious potential. The rest are meh/WTF.

I'm a big fan of Cloak and Dagger but, seeing as how they don't have any real villains, the movie could be pretty dull.

I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of these don't turn out to be direct-to-dvd releases like Man-Thing.

Silver Surfer's supposed to debut in the next Fantastic Four film but if they take him out into space for his solo movie and introduce Thanos and Adam Warlock and all the others, it could be pretty awesome.

The Ant-Man film, if it goes through will be amazing for one reason:

Nick Wright (of Shawn of the Dead / Hot Fuzz) is the head creative guy on it, and will be directing...

I have hope.

They should base it on the new Irredeemable Ant-Man book written by Robert Kirkman.

I think it must have been. Although if I remember, she should have died at the hands of the Green Goblin.

Played by Opie's daughter.

And yeah, instead of introing and killing her in the first film, they decided to bring her in for the third film at the same time as Venom.

Oh yeah. Sure, she only died in the comics fifteen years before Venom even debuted. But who cares about little things like that?

Here's the trailer.

At least they kept the church bell scene in. I don't understand where the black costume is going to come from though, maybe just an alien?

In the '94 cartoon series, I think John Jameson brought it back from space on the side of the ship. Since John was in the last one, it's always possible they could reuse that.

Yeah that's what a friend told me too. That'll do.
