It's actually not bad if you can get past the "i'm a jesus freak" stuff.

There was actually one song I really liked. I think it was on a compilation album I got from the library when I was 15 or so. The riff was awesome, but yeah, once I paid attention to the lyrics it just wasn't happenin'.

This was like a time warp back into a time when my dad had complete control over the radio. Not to make you guys feel old, and its a good feeling.

I love 80's metal. It was a staple musical food I grew up on.

Shiv speaks the truth, Oz Fox was actually an amazing guitarist.

man, you guys are bringin' back some great memories! shiv, i think you and i shared the same record collection (fuckin' Rough Cutt, Icon, Keel, Steeler). that Steeler album SLAYED, and i don't think it was very popular at the time.

i can also relate to back space's obsession with thrash. i loved when the sound started to get heavier.

I mean, dude. Always loved the song "I'm Bored". I wish I hadnt traded some of these albums in back in the early 90's.

Surely the D&D and Satan stuff lyrics are so much more "happenin'".

Thanks Gents, I loved the Thrash metal scene. It was so cool to play through your high school parking lot when most of the wanker popular dudes were listening to Poison and Cinderella. Let me tell you, when "Toxic Trace" from Kreator starts playing, people notice... ))

I also sold all my albums years ago. I distinctly remember handing over my copy of Celtic Frost Morbid Tales, the sales guy looks at it and says, "Yea, this was played alot".. The $30 bucks I got for it was gone long ago, and now I wish I had the old wax back.

When I was a college radio DJ way back in '88-90 I used to play their thrash metal version of "Eleanor Rigby" a lot.

Good fun. Good times.
