I'm a little surprised by this game so far. I thought Georgia might pack it in today after losing so many close games to rather weak teams.

Then you know nothing about this series.

It's called pride gotdamnit!!

The name on the front of the jersey is a hell of a lot more important than the one on the back.

A season of frustration is being lifted as we speak.

I can't tell you how happy I am that this happened against Auburn.

They've done it to us for years.

I love this rivalry.

Tech STRUGGLED today also. Bring those bitches on.

Obner must know.

SEC is the best conference in the nation.

Make an argument against it and it will be shot down with the quickness.

Not so sure. Ill agree that the Big 12 is down this year, but its hard to argue "best conference in the nation" when that is based solely on playing each other every week.

No shit!!

Anybody that doesn't believe that the SEC isn't the best conference in the nation DOES NOT PLAY IN IT!

Brutal.

If a one loss SEC team doesn't get in to the Championship game the whole thing is a sham again.

I can't remember a year that the SEC has been this tough from top to bottom, aside from the Mississipi schools, of course. By virtue of Tennessee and South Carolina both losing today, the 2nd place team in the SEC east is now Kentucky, who gave up 621 yards of total offense to Vandy and still won by 12. Freaking Kentucky! Perrennial Eyore of the league!

Glad to see the Bulldogs (only other SEC east team I can find myself getting behind besides the Cats) bounced back and knocked off the most crooked team in the league. The Razorbacks victory made the night that much sweeter.

Dude watching other conferences play is often like watching high school ball.

See Louisville/Rutgers.

If Rutgers-Louisville is watching high school, I'll take grades 9 -12 every time.

Oh I'll watch it all day long. But there's a difference between watching teams like that and watching SEC football.

I bet both Louisville & Rutgers could beat Kentucky. Actually, Louisville did, 59-28.

Louisville, Rutgers & West Virginia can play with just about anyone in any conference this year. The Big East is taking an undeserved beating. I don't disagree that the SEC is the best conference, but the high school hyperbole just doesn't cut it.

I agree with you, Fu. The SEC may be the best conference top to bottom, but those top three teams in the Big East can hold their own with anybody.

Most of the time you hear comments like that, it has more to do with style of play. SEC just grinds teams up and spits out the bones of the players, whereas other conferences seem to be offense oriented.

(Just something I am have observed, I could be wrong)

I dunno, I think that is true to a point but for the most part a pretty lazy observation. Every major conference has its share of finesse teams, grinder/defensive teams, and all around (i call them "pro") teams.

The ACC and Big 10 for example are full of defensive and running game grinder type teams.
