Maybe it's old news, but I thought it was great. I seem to recall that someone from here is in the band, right? Glad you're getting the exposure - you guys deserve it. :) I can't remember the station but it was down in the 40s, one the "cool music" stations.

i don't think anyone from the band posts here, but they are a chicago band that a lot of us have seen many times. they've been getting a lot of play on kexp lately too.

I'm a big fan of The Changes, I've known them since ryan introduced me to darren in '03. Great guys, great musicians. And i have to disagree with Jasmine about Darren going solo. He's already "gone" solo. He's done solo shows in cozy little joints like The Metro. And he's very, very good, but i wouldn't want to see him eschew one for the other. I haven't talked to him since the move, but i'm sure he's doing a good job of balancing one for the other. I know he hits that bluegrass jam at the horseshoe, if you want to go see him in a different element.

Shhhhhh.

I saw him open for Lou Barlow in '05 and loved him. I love the Changes, too, and wouldn't change (haha) anything about them, but I REALLY love Darren solo.
