One of my top 5 for sure. The first thing I ever bought on DVD. It is perfectly perfect.

I don't think I can pick just one, although I have watched "Real Genius" about 40 times since it came out in 1985. "Ferris Buller's Day Off" and "Ghostbusters" are in this category as well.

Not my favorite, but I can watch The 40 Year Old Virgin over and over again.

Road House
Dr. Strangelove

I don't think it's physically possible for me to pass up either of these two.

today? I would say Blade Runner.

It was truly sci-fi and futuristic (and not too far off the mark either)
the last decent movie Harrison Ford ever made
Rutger Hauer kicks ASS in this film
sexy, dark, disturbing

I will admit that I stop and watch everytime I pass by during one of ABC Family's 329 monthly airings of this classic film.

My number three or four.

#1 would be Ghost World and #2 would be Amelie

Royal and Princess Bride vie back and forth for third.

Right now I'd probably say:

Apocalypse Now

check with me later, I'm sure it'll change. Seeing the doc. "Hearts of Darkness" really doubled up on my love of this movie.

Polly, you gotta stick Better Off Dead and Repo Man in that mix.

Either Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back, although I basically lump the originally trilogy into one film.

Recent faves that I really enjoy watching on a regular basis:
Mallrats, Royal Tennebaums and PCU.

Going by my DVD collection, I'd probably have to say Swingers.

Ferris Bueller, Dazed & Confused, Blues Brothers and Big Lebowski all deserve mentioning.

Mine too.

I've seen it dozens of times.

Were we supposed to say Metropolis, The Great Dictator, Joan Of Arc and Citizen Kane or something? Cuz those are good, too.

I can watch those a lot. I don't really watch movies a lot, though, and I watch very few repeatedly. I haven't been able to watch the same movie over and over since I was a little kid.
