OK, now it's:

Se7en

Gotta get that new deluxe edition. I'm also gonna toss a bone to Memento. Any film that does what this did to my brain ranks up there.

I hope there's not another new edition of Seven out.

I just found out there's new editions of King Kong and Oldboy coming out.

last time we did this I was impressed that, damn, this really is a music board first and foremost.... funky shit you guys like.

Were we supposed to say Metropolis, The Great Dictator, Joan Of Arc and Citizen Kane or something? Cuz those are good, too.

Citizen Kane is great... the other three bore me.

It used to be either Psycho or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid but current number 1 would be:

I really enjoyed Miller's Crossing. When I had Netflix, I went through almost all of the Coen brothers movies. They've had some good ones.

Coens + Kubrick = best ever, as a whole

any day of the week I'll name one of those as my faves.

The Science of Sleep

The movie's deep and allows for a lot of interpretation.

I love the layered scenes, where they're discussing their alternate feelings over what's happening.

It's hard to find that, especially for multiple characters.

Donnie Darko, What Dreams May Come, Eternal Sunshine are all also high contenders.

today? I would say Blade Runner.

It was truly sci-fi and futuristic (and not too far off the mark either)

sexy, dark, disturbing

Definitely ranks up there for me. Amazing, since the first (through to tenth) time I saw it was when I had to study it for HSC English (year 12).

And it's finally getting a dvd release here as well!

Also, Memento, Being John Malkovich
