Kanye claims ATL? I thought he claimed Chicago. How does that work in the situation of, oh say, John Mayer? CT born and raised, Berklee dropout, makes his mark while being based out of ATL?

What about all the bluesmen who settled in Chicago? Then there's the jazz scene. Shit, Miles Davis is from East St. Louis, IL.

born in Georgia, raised in Illinois.

I think he was born and learned how to play in Mississippi. Chicago looks a lot better because of the flood of the 20's that sent everybody up the Mississippi River and cause of the racisim.
