Not the strongest singers on the planet, but a lot of great songs.
Thumbs up.

i once owned fight songs and sattelite rides. Traded 'em both in. Nothing really bad about them, but I thought the songs were entirely forgettable.

I have a couple of albums by them. The only one I really listen to is Too Far to Care. And it's good.

I've got a couple.. never listen to them. To me they are like Drive By Truckers... kinda dated in a pleasant way. Sometimes a little noisy without a money shot. Not a lot to dislike.... a lot to like, but little memorable.

Also, I'm excited to see Rhett Miller in a couple of weeks.

Too Far To Care is a fucking classic. You must put down whatever new garbage they are peddling now and pick that one up.

Like 'em enough. They're a good band to see live. I don't listen to their albums too much though. I agree with those who say they're albums are a bit forgettable.

Damn. Lotta love for that record. I have Fight Songs and Satellite Rides and like them a lot. I'll have to remedy this Too Far To Car situation.
