I hope you get your stuff back, and that you don't have a hangover.

Although that would kind of suck, to find your pocketbook under the couch after going through all that.

So out of everything in the bag (this is like a kitchen sink sort of bag), the wallet has been recovered. Not the journals. The wallet. Every credit card and the checkbook and yada yada yada intact.

Make sure they didn't nab any checks. Identity theft and all.

It's illegal to pick up a deer carcass off the road?

Why was your computer arrested?

It is illegal. But he's been arrested, like, three times before, so he not scared no mo'.

Computers were seized because (super messed up, involved story short) a situation involving my little brother and an overzealous police chief got way out of hand.

Is that why Poet Jr. disappeared from the board?

Aye, Cap'n. Weird, wild stuff of late. Peoples' lives around me are whack right now.

I'll tell him "the biker" noticed his absence.

Having seen the beautiful little cubbyhole of a town you live in, it's hard to imagine what sorta trouble a person could get into (that didn't involve moonshine or a fishing hole), but perhaps I'm better off not knowing.

It's messed up, but ultimately something that was handled poorly and got out of control. I'm pretty sure things will be cleared up, but not until January.

In other news, I picked up my pocket book from a guy named "Chopper" tonight. He found it by the library, everything sans iPod and my hands free set for my cell phone. I'm guessing they thought it was an accessory to the iPod.

Yup.

While appearing slightly sketchy fellow, I don't think he took it. It is gone, of course. When he called my house from the restaurant he works at, he told me to come into the kitchen and ask for Tony. When they directed me to him I thought 'Oh, it's Chopper!'. I don't know him, but he is a "local" whom I've seen around and talked to whilst drunk in bars.

They didn't even take the CDs or DVDs in there! The journals are completely intact, a piece of paper from the first time I saw my guy's writing, postcards and greeting cards I had bought... not that they'd care about any of that, but it's all still there. I am a lucky girl.

I wanted to see his hand writing one night, so I grabbed a piece of paper and told him to write on it. We both ended up scribbling and doodling. It's a silly little sentimental thing.

I didn't, like, steal something out of his apartment, Joe.

Oooh. I see now that you tried to italicize that in the quote.

A very swell fellow I've been seeing for about two and a half months now. He's all sorts of smart and funny and interesting and handsome. I'm in like.

If you want, I guess you could be my internet affair.

No mathmatics or the teaching of it, thank goodness.

Joe, defend yourself! Tell them the joke is old and you haven't killed an animal in, like, two weeks.
I hit a dog with my car once, Joey. It was awful.

To answer the question, no. He babysits his little sisters and writes letters to his brother and such.
