really i am

i realize that 100% of my posts rub you and a few others the wrong way

because im smart enough to realize this i go out of my way to be very descriptive with my thread titles

i do this as a courtesy to those people that can't stand my interest in the ridiculous

im into things like internet phenomena, photoshop humor, crazy news stories about sex with dead deer, dogs puking while humping, and girls pooping in the hot tubs

i happen to find these things fascinating
and i know some other obners do as well

there are aspects of people's responses to these subjects that are far more intelligent and interesting to me than the actual "dumb" subjects

it was labelled as NSFW and half as offensive as some of the stuff that gets posted here without that title. It's a dumb post, but that's about half the board.

I very rarely delete or lock any threads but I just found this one to be so utterly depressing that I had to make a stance against it.

But don't let me spoil the fun. If anyone wants to discuss a girl taking a poop in a hot tub feel free to PM Cats and have an intellectual to and fro on the subject.

That said, I want that thread off the front page as soon as possible.

It's odd that almost everyone complains about the board 'not being as good as it used to be' but when make any sort of stance about improving the quality of posts people cry foul.

If you really think losing this post as quickly as possible is to the detriment of the board then I really despair but at the same time I wouldn't be that surprised.

As for Cats wish for the thread to be unlocked, perhaps he should ask another moderator, provided he can find one willing to do so.
